Fenox Venture Capital is proud to announce a joint collaboration program with The Founder Institute to help Bangladeshi startups grow. The Founder Institute is the largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program. The collaboration aims to guide entrepreneurs through the startup building process in various sectors such as mobile apps, digital health, and enterprise software.
The intensive three and a half month long program will give aspiring entrepreneurs the support and connections jointly offered by Fenox and The Founder Institute. Upon graduation of the program, the strongest startups will receive a $15,000 investment from Fenox to further aid their growth. The program starts February 17, 2015 and has already filled 75% of its available spots. The winners of the competition and Fenox’s investment will be announced in May 2015.
Fenox Venture Capital and The Founder Institute both share a commitment to tech entrepreneurs of emerging markets around the world. To date, they are the only Silicon Valley-based investors to delve into Bangladesh. “We believe in the entrepreneurial potential of the Bangladeshi people,” said Anis Uzzaman, CEO of Fenox Venture Capital. He called the joint venture “a great opportunity to collaborate on helping entrepreneurs in the region.” Adeo Ressi, CEO of the Founder Institute, praises Fenox Venture Capital as “an experienced partner [who will] help our graduates grow after the program is over.”
This announcement comes shortly after the launch of Fenox’s new $200M fund dedicated to Bangladeshi startups. Check back in May 2015 for the results of this new and exciting venture.
