Various methods adopted by leading startups in the Silicon Valley were cited as examples. Several suggestions for achieving customer acquisition, product development and building a cohesive team were also provided to the audience.

“Indonesia is a vibrant environment for startups in part due to the macroeconomic factors and its growing consumption of technology,” Anis remarked. “Southeast Asia promises to become the next high-growth region after the BRIC economies, and Fenox is delighted to be a part of this economic boom.”

Joining Anis at the ensuing panel discussion entitled “Comparing Entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley and Indonesia” were Rama Mamuaya, CEO of DailySocial, Denny Santoso, CEO of DuniaFitness.com, Andi S. Boediman, Director at Ideosource and Arip Tirta, CEO of UrbanIndo.
