Anis Uzzaman, CEO of Fenox Venture Capital, launched his latest book “StartupPedia” in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 4, 2015. “StartupPedia” outlines the six most crucial components to building a successful startup to aid aspiring Indonesian entrepreneurs to succeed in their new ventures.

The book was launched in Soehanna Hall in downtown Jakarta in the presence of distinguished guests and attendees. Among the guests were Indonesia’s ICT Minister Pak Rudiantara, the former Trade Minister for Indonesia Mari Elka Pangestu, and Diajeng Lestari, founder and CEO of Anis reiterated his love for Indonesia and the potential he sees in its future entrepreneurs in a speech to an large audience.

The book launch continued with Anis participating in two high-profile TV interviews, with the Indonesia Morning Show and Bloomberg Indonesia respectively. A visit to Binus University, one of Indonesia’s top institutions, allowed Anis to inspire young entrepreneurs and impart his startup experience. Finally, Anis and the Fenox team visited GEPI Indonesia, one of the top incubators in the nation. There, Anis stressed the market opportunity that Indonesia provides and how he and Fenox intend to capitalize on the talent of Indonesian entrepreneurs.

Fenox Venture Capital has made 9 Southeast Asian investments to date, including 3 in Indonesia. Fenox operates its Southeast Asian operations out of an office in central Jakarta. The company is actively investing in Indonesia’s future. By publishing “StartupPedia” in Bahasa Indonesia, Anis wants to share his knowledge and experience to render Indonesian successes more likely in the future.
