Anis has invested in over 80 startups in the United States, Japan, and South East Asia. Anis is an investor and board member of Tech in Asia, the largest tech media blog in Southeast Asia. He holds a B.Eng. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, an M.S. in Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D in Computer Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University in Tokyo, Japan. Vitaliy Arbuzov, one of the most innovative and successful businessmen in Eastern Europe, is the Chairman and General Partner of Fenox Venture Capital.
With a background in mechanical engineering, Vitaliy founded Fenox Global Group, one of the largest automotive parts suppliers for major car manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and North America. Fenox Global Group counts over 7,000 employees and offices all over the world. Additionally, Vitaliy operates successful businesses in real estate and retail including a leading supermarket chain in Europe.
He has led over 30 Mergers & Acquisitions and has been involved in numerous cross-border transactions. Vitaliy co-founded Fenox Venture Capital to help entrepreneurs build successful, disruptive businesses that span US and international markets.
Shameem Ahsan is a General Partner of Fenox Venture Capital. Based out of Bangladesh, Shameem leads our Bangladesh operations.
Shameem has received “Best Young Entrepreneur of Bangladesh” award from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh at Dhaka Chamber of Commerce Business Award, Top Outstanding Young Person in Bangladesh by JCI and Award for contribution in e-Business sector by Computer Jagat. He is the member of Prime Minister’s Digital Bangladesh Task Force, Government of Bangladesh which is the highest policy-making body to monitor and implement the vision of building Digital Bangladesh.
Shameem is the President of Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS), the national association for Software and IT enabled services companies in Bangladesh. He is the Co-Chairman, Standing Committee on Digitization of Trade bodies of Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He was a Executive Committee member of Bangladesh Tennis Federation and a member of Bangladesh National Tennis team. Shameem is also an ICT entrepreneur and co-founded Akhoni.com Ltd., eGeneration Ltd., Benchmark-eGeneration Ltd. & Element 5 Fashion.

Evgeny Zhilinsky serves as VP of Fenox Europe. In addition to managing the firm’s legal and business affairs, he serves as the liaison between the US and Eastern Europe investment and operations teams.
Evgeny brings extensive corporate business, investment, and legal experience to Fenox Venture Capital. For over a decade, Evgeny has been general counsel to the Fenox Global Group during which he oversaw all legal affairs. Having participated in multiple cross-border transactions, Evgeny has deep knowledge and insights into the corporate exit process.
Evgeny holds a law degree from the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
Fenox Japan CEO
Toshitada Nagumo serves as CEO of Fenox Japan. He is responsible for fundraising, corporate partnership, and startup investment in Japan and across Asia.
Toshitada founded and managed his own consulting firm and has more than 10 years of experience in growth strategy consulting, new business development support, fundraising, M&A, and IR consulting. He specializes in diverse industries, such as Telecommunication, Media, IT, Renewable Energy, FinTech, and High-tech. He served a large number of clients not only in Japan, but also across the US, EU and Asia ranging from startups to large global corporation.
Prior to founding his own consulting firm, Toshitada was a Senior Strategic Consultant at Nomura Research Institute, one of the largest consulting and system integration firms in Japan. He provided strategic consulting, such as business development, global business expansion, Japan market entry, technology evaluation and more to large Japanese corporations as well as global large corporations in the US, EU and Asia. He also promoted the new IT paradigm, “Ubiquitous Networks”, “M2M”, which can be described as prior version of IoT, at the time. He has greatly contributed to the IT evolution resulting in business/market through various publishing and lecturing activities. While being with NRI, he worked at US subsidiary, Nomura Research Institute America in New York, for several years. A large number of his engagement includes US entry/business expansion strategy to large Japanese corporations and vice versa.

Director of Finance & Operations
Harumi Akimoto serves as Director of Finance and Operations at Fenox Venture Capital.
After graduating from State University of New York, Harumi spent over a decade traveling the world working for prestigious luxury brands. She has extensive experience in merchandising and retail operations for top brands including Valentino, Hugo Boss, Celine, among others.
Harumi then moved on to start her own eCommerce business offering premium apparel for Japanese consumers around the world.
Head of Investments
Vivek Ladsariya manages investments in the US and Southeast Asia for Fenox across sectors including digital health, IT, big data, IoT, and marketplaces. He works alongside entrepreneurs in product development, enterprise partnership, M&A exit, and entering international markets such as the US, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and India.
Prior to his role at Fenox, Vivek was a serial entrepreneur having started and led two companies – a game rental company and an advisory business to early stage investors. He developed significant experience building product and companies and continues to use the expertise to support entrepreneurs.
Vivek holds an MBA from Yale University and a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering. At Yale, he delivered a lecture series on venture capital for entrepreneurs.
Ryan Hamilton manages the US and Southeast Asia investment teams at Fenox Venture Capital. He sources Seed and Series A startups in North America and Asia across sectors including IT, Health IT, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Robotics, Big Data, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, FinTech and Next Generation Technologies. He also facilitates enterprise partnerships between portfolio startups and multinational corporations.
Prior to his role at Fenox, Ryan worked within private wealth management and private equity.
Ryan received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley.
Yoichiro (Pina) Hirano serves as an Advisor at Fenox Venture Capital.
Pina is the Founder and CEO of Infoteria Corporation, the number one Enterprise Application Integration and Mobile Content Management software company in Japan. He also serves as a director, chairman of the board. In just 8 years, he led the company from start-up to successful IPO at Tokyo Stock Exchange, also achieving Japanese EAI Market Share No.1 for 9 years in a row.
Pina is the Chairman of Made in Japan Software (MIJS) consortium, an association of approximately 80 ISVs in Japan. He also serves as the Chairman of the Blockchain Collaborative Consortium (BCCC), Japan’s first blockchain industry organization
Pina taught Management of Tech-startups at Aoyama Gakuin University Graduate School from 2008 to 2011 as a visiting professor. Prior to founding Infoteria with Yoshiyuki Kitahara, CTO of Infoteria, he led a team of Product Marketing and Strategic Planning for 10 years at Lotus Development Corporation, which is now a part of IBM Corporation. Before Lotus, he had developed one of the best-selling Japanese word processer as a Software Engineer.
Brent Traidman is an Advisor for Fenox Venture Capital, and is based out of Chicago.
Over the past 15 years, Brent has held many management positions for IT and Software related companies, leading large teams for Public and Private firms. Brent is also a Board Director at Edyn, a Fenox Venture Capital backed leading provider of IoT devices for the home and garden. Brent also is a mentor and advisor for many global accelerators and incubators in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Brent is a keen developer and retainer of technology talents through professional coaching and development, and advises the portfolio’s founders and CEO’s on building world class teams.
Brent holds a B.A. in Psychology and Economics from the University of Michigan.
Ryuta Shiiki serves as an Advisor at Fenox Venture Capital.
Ryuta is the Founder and CEO of Dream Link Entertainment Inc. (DLE), the #1 Flash animation studio in Asia, best known for its flagship animation “Secret Society Eagle Talon.” The series is broadcasted nationwide by NHK and widely accepted across generation segments.
Headquartered in Tokyo, DLE is expanding its business globally with a brand officer in North American and a joint venture in Taiwan. Ryuta-san’s professional career started at Sony, where during his 10-year tenure he worked at Sony International Singapore and as a General Director for Sony Vietnam in Hanoi. Subsequently, he developed a deep understanding of the content industry as the Head Officer of Overseas Licenses at Sony Pictures Visual Works (currently Aniplex). Since founding the company in 2001, Ryuta secured partnerships with global content leaders, including Hasbro and Warner Brothers Animation. Producers Guild of America recognized such efforts, and inducted Ryuta as its first member from the Anime industry in Japan.
Back in his home country of Japan, Ryuta serves as an advisor to the Governor of the Fukuoka prefecture to promote the revitalization of Japanese regions. With a strong passion for connecting Japan and the world through entertainment, Ryuta brings unique domain expertise in the content market as an advisor to the team.
